With speed training, these four areas are crucial if you need to be faster. Here’s why:

  • Your Speed. Having lots of speed means you can apply a large amount of power in a really short period of time (0.1 to 0.2 seconds). We train your neuromuscular system to improve the firing patterns of your fast twitch muscle fibers; you’ll move like greased lightening.
  • Your Agility. With explosive movement you can stop, change direction and accelerate on a dime. Stopping is important so we train you using sports specific exercises and scenarios that develop agility.
  • Your Endurance. Move at high speed longer (for more than 6 seconds) or move at high speed repeatedly with small breaks in between. We identify your endurance limits and then work with you to extend them.
  • Power. The amount of strength you’ve got affects the amount of force you can generate. Our strength and weight training programs give you more power, increasing your overall speed.
